**ALS Recruiting Ltd is looking for an Inside Sales Representative**

**About the Opportunity**

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities by contacting potential customers and setting appointments. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and complaints.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their unique shipping requirements and providing them with exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with the operations team to develop customized transportation solutions that meet customer needs, including freight rates, transit times, and service options.
- Prepare and present professional sales proposals and quotations to customers, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers, ensuring profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential sales opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
- Utilise CRM software to maintain accurate and organized sales records, track customer interactions, and generate sales reports.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in freight sales, preferably in an inside sales role within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and generating new business.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and transportation services, including various modes of transportation, customs regulations, and industry practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and negotiate effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive and persistent approach to sales.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, manage pipelines, and generate reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and leverage internal resources to meet customer needs.

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
