**About the Opportunity**

Opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Early Intervention & Prevention Unit (EIPU) based at Staffordshire Police Headquarters, this is a part time post (0.6) permanent role that will support work on the thematic area of Business Crime. Linking with both internal colleagues and external partners in order to prevent business crime, support local businesses in relation to crime prevention and reducing the risk of crime and vulnerability, you will work with other thematic areas within the unit including Licensing and crime prevention advisors as well as linking to both national and regional work strands.

The role will provide information, advice and guidance on structured problem solving and the delivery of effective crime prevention initiatives; to support the achievement of force objectives to minimise crime, disorder and antisocial behaviour and protect people from harm utilising problem solving techniques. There will also be the requirement to develop vulnerability, early intervention and prevention strategies and tactical options through problem analysis.
