Blacks Visual is an industry leading British based designer and manufacturer of display and visual merchandising collateral for the retail industry. Established in 1998 we have built a trusted reputation working with worldwide brands and retailers.

Our design office is based in Shoreditch, London and our head office and manufacturing hub is based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

The factory is the workplace of over 50 skilled craftspeople, incorporating joinery, spray finishing, print, LED & electrics and logistics departments.

The London design office works closely with the factory team to ensure the smooth transition from concept design to specification to production.

**About the Role**

Responsible for assisting the existing Client Account Management team and the Design team in all relevant tasks.

The role will encompass attending client meetings with senior managers, briefing projects to both the design team and the factory team, as well as an active involvement in the promotion of the company on social media.

The role will involve being fully integrated with both the design and the production parts of the company.

The role is one where over time and with learnt experience you will evolve into managing your own stable of client accounts.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Attend client meetings and assist with all aspects of the briefing process.
- Evaluation of customer project briefs to establish and understand customer requirements.
- Prepare full and detailed brief for internal design team to work from.
- Prepare briefs for the factory team to quote from. This could involve detailed notes, drawings, factory meetings and site visits.
- Assist on site surveys.
- Attend overnight installations where appropriate and necessary.
- Involvement in the preparation of company proposals & presentations for client meetings.
- Liaise closely with internal project managers and to input on the costing process where appropriate.
- Project plan creation and ongoing management to ensure agreed customer deadlines are met.
- Communicate openly with both client and internal stake holders.
- Involvement and input on Prototype development, production, construction & presentation.
- Handle multiple projects at the same time.
- Input and general assistance with social media accounts.
- Regular factory visits (either weekly or every other week as necessary).
- Researching potential new clients via social media.

**Day to Day Responsibilities**
- Day to day project management of client projects.
- Attend both client and project planning meetings as required.
- Work with Client and internal production teams across all briefs.
- Daily liaison with project managers.
- Be available for ad hoc client meetings and interaction.
- Work closely with design team to ensure a smooth project process.
- Promote and adhere to Blacks Visual etiquette.
- To conduct yourself in a manner that always maintains the professionalism of Blacks Visual.
- Able to work with senior managers to implement the company's policies and goals.

**Other Duties**

To undertake such other duties, training and / or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
