Purchasing Administrator

**Perm Purchasing Administrator required for Lisburn.**
**Duties will include**:
- Planning for and purchasing all production components
- Control and management of stock including stock takes and cycle counts
- Update / maintenance of ERP - MRP system
- Management of supplier base.
- Completion of purchasing and stock records
- Packing and shipping of customer products
- Assist colleagues towards production targets
- Housekeeping and Health & Safety
- Utilise best practice processes, techniques and continuous improvement methods
- All associated administration
**Essential criteria**:
- HNC or equivalent in a relevant (engineering or business) discipline and 6 months experience in a production/manufacturing environment
**OR**
Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent, in Math’s & English (Grade C or above) with minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high tech production/manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
