**About this Role**:
The Project Specialist will support project teams in partnership and under the direction of Project Leadership (Technical Leads and Program/Project Managers) to assure that project monitoring, system maintenance, and project documentation are completed. This role will also support the implementation of Project/Program Management processes and policies under the direction of Senior team members.

**What You Will Do**:
Project Coordination
Under the guidance of Project Leadership, the Project Specialist will:

- Enter and maintain resourcing expectations for the team within Veranex systems (OpenAir).
- Enter data into and maintain project budgetary/financial forecasts.
- Track project/program needs (e.g. action items, decisions, risks) and follow up with team members to completion.
- Organize and setup internal and external meetings.

User Research Coordination
Under the guidance of Project Leadership, the Project Specialist will:

- Generate Supplier Contract structures for vendor signature and Veranex contracts review.
- Communicate with recruitment vendors and provide internal teams with status updates on recruitment status.
- Organize and setup user research schedules using Veranex preferred tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
- Work with Accounts Payable for timely distribution of payments to vendors and research particiapnts.

Team Coordination
Under the guidance of Discovey & Definition Leadership, the Project Specialist will:

- Organize team trainings and events, which the Project Specialist will also participate in.
- Support internal initiatives on an as-needed basis.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or experience in user experience design, service design, anthropology, pharmaceutical or medical device product development. engineering, industrial design or other related technical field
- 1-3 years of professional experience (consulting environment preferred)
- Works well with a variety of working styles and personalities and is able to facilitate constructive discussions among colleagues
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage competing priorities
- Ability to work independently, as a self-starter, and to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio
