**Digital Marketing Assistant**

**Full time, fixed term role to 31 August 2024**

**£25,000 per annum (pro-rated to length of contract)**

**The Royal Highland Centre (RHC)**:
The RHC is Scotland’s largest events venue and welcomes over 1 million visitors a year to over 200 events, including indoor, outdoor music events, car/track events and consumer lifestyle events across its 280-acre site. The flagship event is the Royal Highland Show in June, which showcases the very best in food, farming and rural life, attracting over 190,000 visitors annually. With a continued programme of investment at Ingliston, the RHC is becoming a key venue within the event marketplace.

**The Role**:
This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to gain experience in marketing and the event industry.

You will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in creating and executing online marketing content and organic campaigns for The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) flagship event, the Royal Highland Show and the Royal Highland Centre where we host a variety of events throughout the year.

Main Duties:

- Creating and managing multiple social media accounts, including posting content, and engaging with followers.
- Collaborating with all teams to create and publish blog posts and other types of content.
- Updating websites through our CRM system.
- Assist in the development of event marketing materials including, flyers and other collateral.
- Managing and organising marketing materials, such as images, videos, and graphics.

Key Skills:

- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- You should be able to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient and comfortable using all social media platforms, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Passion for events and a desire to create engaging content for social channels.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
