Job Description: Document Controller

**Key Responsibilities**
- Creating and maintaining project folders.
- Creating a tender document register for each project, ensuring that drawings and other relevant documents are downloaded and distributed within the required timescale.
- Tracking drawing updates and revisions via various portals; downloading drawings and documents; printing, collating, and distributing them as required.
- Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems for site diaries, plant inspection records, and materials received tickets.
- Assisting the Health & Safety Manager with administration, particularly in maintaining the training database and organising and developing Health & Safety documentation.
- Arranging for laboratory testing to be carried out as required by site, tracking test samples, and recording results.
- Preparing project programmes.
- Creating new starter induction packs.
- Monitoring weekly site reports (assisting in their production as required) and arranging for their distribution.
- Monitoring and managing Environmental compliance documents.
- Monitoring and managing Quality Assurance documents.
- Assisting in the preparation of O&M manuals. Archiving site and project documents following the completion of each project.

Key Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A confident and positive attitude to work.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent typing skills.
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel packages.

**Hours of work: 9.00am-5.00pm Monday - Friday**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
