Job title: Receptionist

Position Reports To: Practice Manager / Reception Manager

Location: Kings Lane Medical Practice, Higher Bebington Health Centre, 25
Brackenwood Road, Higher Bebington, Wirral

**Salary**: £10.84 p/hr

Job Role and Responsibilities:
1. Answering telephone calls to the main reception desk and dealing with queries

2. Ensuring company employees are notified of visitors and directing visitors appropriately.

3. Receiving visitors and maintaining security by ensuring security authorisation is in place, monitoring signing in book, issuing visitors badges and following other building security rules.

4. Undertaking and promotion of national and local health schemes which relates to QOF (Quality outcome frames) and IIF (investors and Impact fund) which relates to calling patients and making appropriate appointments.

5. Recording information on patients records.
6. Reporting incidents
7. Updating were appropriate patients records.
8. Handling of medical letters
9. Scanning medical letters to patients records
10. Completion of tasks sent by clinical staff.
11. Ensuring clinical staff rooms are maintained.
12. Acting as a chaperone were appropriate.
13. Adhering to all practice policies protocols and work ethic
14. Covering of staff holidays and sickness
15. Always Maintaining confidentiality
16. Ensuring the reception area is clean and tidy.
17. Taking part and completion of mandatory training
18. Maintain professionalism.
19. Any other reasonable task as directed by Practice Manager / Reception

Manager.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time

**Salary**: £10.84 per hour

Expected hours: 30.75 per week
