Due to continued success and growth, South Morningside After School Care Club (SMASCC) are currently seeking an After School Club Manager to join the team. This role will be based in South Morningside School in Edinburgh.

**What will I be responsible for?**

As our After School Club Manager, you will be responsible for planning and day-to-day running of the Clubs alongside providing a consistently safe, secure, nurturing and socially stimulating environments for all the children attending the Breakfast Club,the After School Club and the Holiday Club.

Other duties include but are not limited to:

- Leading the team and maintain highest levels of capability and performance within the team
- Overseeing the effective operation of Comiston Road site, ensuring meet health & safety and Care Inspectorate standards
- Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
- Overseeing and manage day-to-day running costs and monitor costs and expenditure
- Ensuring effective record-keeping, management information and reports
- Ensuring data related to members, children and staff are properly maintained and in line with data protection and privacy regulations
- Wider responsibilities in conjunction with the Board of Trustees

**Could this be the ideal role for me?**

Joining our team as a After School Club Manager, you must have achieved a SVQ Level 4 in Childcare and have or be willing to work towards a BA Childhood Practice of Level 9 PDA in Childhood Practice, or have/working towards an equivalent childcare qualificationthat allows you to manage the after school club, as required by the Scottish Social Services Council.
- A PVG check needs to be carried out due to the nature of working with young people._
