Tasks

You’ll be the data centre of the company and a business partner to senior stakeholders. Your analysis will help them understand business performance and contribute to data driven decision making.

Together with the members of the finance team you will work on constantly improving the reports we are using to handle day to day operations and the general data setup.

Your technical skills will connect data sources to create new data streams we can use to draw insights.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain our PowerBI system and improve existing reports on key KPIs ensuring our data connectors and data streams are working
- Ensure data we share with stakeholders is accurate and up-to-date
- Create static and interactive reports from various data resources (databases, CSVs, Google Spreadsheets, etc.)
- Visualise data effectively, tailoring presentations to the task at hand and target audience
- Take ownership of data documentation and establish guidelines for data management and usage
- Perform regular reviews of available data and suggest improvements
- Partner with senior stakeholders and conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover insights and inform business decisions
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to define a strategy for transitioning to a data warehouse with an appropriate data pipeline setup and self-serve report tool setup
- Handle other data-related tasks as needed, given the evolving nature of this role in our company

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years hands on experience in data analysis and BI system management
- Advanced PowerBI skills
- Expert knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel
- Solid understanding of up-to-date commonly used data architecture, data analysis techniques and data visualisation tools
- Able to work with a high degree of autonomy and to take ownership, particularly within a hybrid international / remote setting
- Commercial mindset with the ability to quickly get up to speed on key business drivers and to proactively provide data insights to help drive improvements
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box for creative solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear manner
- Can-Do attitude and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Beneficial skills

- Travel industry experience
