**About the TA Role**:

- With small class sizes and tailored support, the school empowers its students to excel academically, socially, and emotionally.
- The Teaching Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a HLTA / teacher to contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities for groups and individual students, in accordance with school policies and procedures.
- Specified work may be delivered to groups or 1-1, without the presence of a teacher, on an ongoing basis as part of routine timetabling. A TA will also routinely undertake additional responsibilities such as: cover supervision; coaching and mentoring; and contributing to policy development.
- Optional extra responsibilities (not affecting the grade):_
- Lead extracurricular activities with limited supervision
- Attend SLT meetings to contribute to strategic development
- Provide toileting support and assistance to students as needed *
- Offer support to unwell students as required *

**About You**:

- Willingness to pursue further qualifications and training
- Experience in planning, evaluating, and delivering learning activities
- Previous work with children, youth, and families in educational settings
- Comprehensive understanding of child protection, health, safety procedures, and policies
- Familiarity with educational frameworks, ICT for learning support
- Proficient in curriculum implementation, child development, and SEND Code of Practice
- Effective management of student behaviour, adherence to school policies
- Consistent attendance, willingness to travel
