**Job Purpose**:
To act as first point of contact for HR related from employees and external partners.

To ensure that the people records for Cubby Construction are compliantly maintained and staff starting and leaving are correctly processed.

**Key Tasks**:
**Employee Development**
- Manage the apprentice process in conjunction with the Leadership team, ensuring that compliance with training organisation requirements and the business needs are aligned
- Manage the work experience placements in conjunction with the Leadership team, ensuring that compliance with the education provider requirements and the business needs are aligned
- Ensure frameworks are in place for Trainees and that regular monitoring of progress takes place
- Ensure Employee Development plans are in place for all staff.

**HR Admin**
- Work alongside key partners such as Burnetts,
- Maintain and Update Job Descriptions
- Assist the leadership and managers in the recruitment of staff by:

- Overseeing the writing of job advertisements
- Ensuring advertisements are placed with Cubby’s chosen recruitment mechanisms e.g. Indeed, Social Media, Selected Agencies
- Attendance at Schools Fairs, STEM events, and other recruitment events
- Actively seek out and attend suitable recruitment and retention events
- Ensuring Recruitment Agencies offer value for money and are on agreed consistent terms
- Being first filter for CV’s and providing support to the selection process
- Assisting on the setting up of interviews
- Assist the leadership and managers when staff leave by:

- Conducting exit interviews
- Notifying Wages of leavers
- Staff Support
- Monitor Holiday entitlements providing information to Wages for Starters & Leavers and Finance for Holiday Pay calculations
- Ensure Wage and department changes are properly authorised and communicated to Wages
- Systems
- Ensure SageHR or equivalent is maintained and used to full capability
- Manage and process Global announcements, noting key dates within them
- Administration of new starters:

- Ensuring offer letters and new starter packs are sent out and returned correctly
- Ensuring references are taken up and fed back to recruiting managers
- Ensuring medical forms are correctly dealt with and communicated where relevant
- Conducting first day inductions
- Coordinating monthly EOS inductions
- Setting new staff up with Sage HR
- Adding new staff to the BUPA Scheme
- Notifying Wages of new starters
