**Role Title**:Payroll Administrator
**Salary**: £23,000 - £27,000 depending on experience
**Location**: Boscombe Down, England, GB
**The role**
As a member of Payroll team, undertaking a range of administrative duties across the function without supervision. To be an expert in one or more services and train, guide and support others with tasks as required.
**What will I be doing?**
- Ensure compliance with organisation policies, procedures and work instructions
- To take ownership of problems and be proactive when dealing with all issues.
- Delivers payroll administrative services to a high standard managing and completing tasks, using own initiative.
- Resolves queries using judgement based on analysis of information and knowledge and experience of processes and services.
- To escalate to the relevant Senior Employee Services Administrator or if needed initiate escalation procedures.
- Liaison with third parties if required.
- Proactively investigate ways to reduce common issues.
- Responsible for update and maintenance of accurate internal work instructions and processes.

- To exceed the expectations of internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to work in team environment whilst working on own allocated work
- Provide accurate information to all stakeholders

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Good general education e.g. GCSE (or equivalent)
- Communicate effectively in English
- Experience working in a customer service or administration role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Working towards or willing to work towards appropriate qualification in Payroll.
