**What is the job?**:
Power Electrics are searching for a Sales Ledger Clerk to be an integral member of the Finance team in our South West Headquarters. Reporting to the finance manager, this position would suit an
individual seeking a career in a fast-paced company who has a keen attention to detail and
autonomous work ethic.

**What will you be doing in this role?**:

- Review of daily invoice reports and ensure invoices are raised, posted and distributed
appropriately, including submission onto customer portals.
- Month end invoicing, reporting and closing.
- Ensure all cash only continuing invoices are processed by 24th of each month and paid by the end of the month.
- Produce credit notes as required and if necessary, liaising with the customer to resolve any invoicing queries.
- Process all statements at month end, liaising with the credit controller to issue overdue
letters with statements where required.
- Ensure Accounts Receivable mailbox is being managed & queries responded to
independently and as part of the team.
- Assist the Credit Controller with overdue accounts as required, assisting to resolve any
disputes as necessary.
- Process all credit card payments.
- Ad-hoc work as required in the Finance department.
- Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying-out general
housekeeping to ensure work areas are kept tidy.
- Comply with all aspects of the company ISO 9001:2000 procedures, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme.

**Skills and requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Sales Ledger Clerk.
- Ability to prioritise own workload and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Hands-on, flexible and self-motivated.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
