**About Our Client**:
Our client is based in Runcorn, a large organisation with an impressive £300mil turnover. They have grown over the past 18 months and due to this require an additional Billings Assistant. A role where you can start your finance career and grow with the company long term within finance.
- Create comprehensive, accurate and timely invoices for customers airlines/agencies using the in-house billing systems
- Reconcile weekly/monthly billing to forecasts, highlighting variances of revenue to relevant persons
- Customer focus to ensuring an effective billing service and appropriate escalation of issues to meet customer satisfaction
- Upload all billing revenue to the necessary accounting system ensuring relevant checks are in place
- Develop effective working relationships with Customer Account Managers, Business Controllers, Credit Control, Systems team and Purchase Ledger
- Develop effective working relationships with the Operation and their Support Teams
- Develop a commercial awareness of customers
- Work with the Commercial teams and stations to identify opportunities for improvement to the accuracy of data supplied
- Ensuring timely resolution of queries within service levels.
- Review queries to identify areas of improvement top prevent repetition of the query to allow efficient debt collection
- Clear focus on internal business areas to support meeting expectations.
- Produce reports as requested or required
- Maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders to ensure business values and deliverables are met.
- Ensure month end deadlines are met and invoices are produced accurately and timely and in line with the billing schedule.
- Active participant in Ad Hoc requests
- Maintaining a rigorous control environment meeting legislative and ICS requirements
- Attend and contribute to team meetings

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Minimum of 4 GCSE's grade A-C including English and Maths (or equivalent). Qualified or part qualified AAT desired
- In-depth knowledge of billing principals, concepts, and understanding billing processes and reporting
- Ideally experience in a similar role
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Computer literate with Word, PowerPoint. Advanced Excel, comfortable using VLookups, Pivot Table, Sum If, Count If and analysis tools
- Willingness to develop Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work closely with other departments and managers
- Excellent attention to detail
