**About Our Client**:
Our client, a leading entity in their sector, is a large-sized organisation. They are renowned for their commitment to quality service and maintaining a supportive work environment for their employees.
- Manage day-to-day billing activities and ensure accuracy of invoices.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date billing system and customer files.
- Generate financial reports for review by management.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
- Implement and adhere to internal controls and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.
**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Billings Clerk should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- An ability to work well within a team and independently.
