About Our Client:

Our client, a leading entity in their sector, is a large-sized organisation. They are renowned for their commitment to quality service and maintaining a supportive work environment for their employees.

  • Manage daytoday billing activities and ensure accuracy of invoices.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist with monthend closing procedures.
  • Maintain uptodate billing system and customer files.
  • Generate financial reports for review by management.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Implement and adhere to internal controls and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.

The Successful Applicant:

A successful Billings Clerk should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • An ability to work well within a team and independently.
