**JOB DESCRIPTION**

24 hour live-in care is required for two single sisters in their early 90’s, residing together in their own shared home. We are recruiting 2 + persons to form a Care Team and aim to provide the ladies with continuity and consistency. We envisage a typical shift to comprise of 5 days “on” but for the right person(s) we are able to be flexible. This position provides Carers with their own bedroom within the property.

**ABOUT THE EMPLOYERS**

Two single sisters in their early 90’s, living in their own shared bungalow, (with walk-in shower-room), in the Fife countryside.

**MAIN DUTIES**

Care of the two ladies, both of whom have reasonably good mobility. Both ladies are able to dress and part-take of meals independently, they require mínimal supervision for bathing. One of the ladies has life-long limited capacity and may awaken during the night. Supervision of medication.

This post includes some light housekeeping duties including, vacuuming and dusting, changing bed-linen, washing, ironing and preparation of meals. These duties may vary day to day. This position is also supported by a family member who attends to the main grocery shopping and runs additional errands.

**APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS**

Previous experience in the Care Sector preferred. A genuine interest in care of the elderly and a flexible, positive attitude.

**HOURS OF WORK**

This is a 24 hour live-in care position. Shifts may vary, but as part of a 2 + Care Team, typically 5 days “on”. Shifts may vary by agreement and for the right person(s) we are able to be flexible in this regard.

**RATE OF PAY**

£10 - £12 per hour

**ESSENTIAL**
