Front of House Staff

Due to expansion of service hours and functions we require Front of House and Events staff for an immediate start.

The café restaurant offers high quality local produce and provides a relaxed place for people to meet friends. It provides a wide range of snacks, meals and a take away service and is managed by suitably qualified staff who have responsibility for the operation of the cafe restaurant and for staff training. The venue offers private functions, exhibitions, live music, film screenings and other events.

Front-of-house and events staff:

- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Setting up and dismantling events space including function tables and room decor
- Serve and present food and/or beverages, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
- Assist in keeping the bar, front-of-house and events area clean and tidy, at all times
- Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
- Make customers aware of offers on our food and drink range
- Speak to customers to ensure that they are satisfied with their meals
- Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
- Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office
- To undertake any other duties as deemed appropriate from time to time within the needs of the Council of Voluntary Organisations (East Ayrshire) Ltd

Previous experience of working in the hospitality industry required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week

- Weekend availability
