Trinity Business Support are working with a fantastic business based in Birtley, who are looking for an experienced External Sales Representative to join their team.

You will be responsible for representing the company both professionally and proactively by maintaining and managing a list of the company’s existing customer base, as well as generating new customers through a variety of sales techniques including cold-calling, up-selling and cross-selling.

**Key Duties**:

- To achieve sales targets and forecast’s set by the company.
- To report weekly sales activity within allocated area.
- To keep the company’s database updated and record communications with customers.
- To acquire and maintain an in-depth product knowledge.
- Initiate and maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Liaise with credit control in relation to customer credit limits and outstanding payments.
- To generate new customers.
- Liaise with internal sales staff regarding customers.
- To work closely with the rest of the Sales Team to ensure the company meets its monthly sales targets and other sales objectives.
- To reactivate dormant accounts.
- To identify, implement, and manage new sales initiatives when approved.
- Be allocated the following postcodes: DH, DL, TS, YO21 & YO22

**Salary/Benefits**:

- Salary is paid on a weekly basis.
- 28 days holiday per year including Bank Holidays (Jan-Dec). Christmas closure taken from holiday entitlement.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided where required.
- Company vehicle, laptop and phone will be provided.
- A competitive bonus structure.

**Working Hours**:
42hrs per week.

Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 4.30pm

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
