Care Today (Children's Services) are recruiting Residential Care Workers to join our home based in Darwen on our rural farm.
**THIS IS ALSO A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR OUTDOOR LOVING ACTIVITY WORKERS (DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE) **With the chance to get involved in our **new **Short term targeted intervention service offering a tailored package designed to meet the immediate needs of the young person to identify the most appropriate pathway to promote their health and well being. The post may include (as appropriate, dependent on the package)
Our welcoming home in Darwen provides 24/7 care for young people within the home, the home is for children all facing a variety of their own challenges, and we are looking for enthusiastic and caring people to help make a difference to these children.
During your 6-month probation period, you will be enrolled in a NVQ 3 Diploma in residential care, if you do not already hold one. This will be fully funded and you will be given plenty of time and support to complete However, you must be self-motivated to complete the qualification.

Our focus is on developing our staff and we have many opportunities for progression within the company, including for **Fostering Social Work, Therapy, Training Education/Teaching, and as Registered Managers.**
*Sleepovers are paid at £55.00 per sleep / Waking night paid at £15.00 per hour

- Sleepovers paid on annual leave (Based on average sleepovers from previous 52 weeks)_
- Bonus paid on completion of L3 diploma_
- Overtime on hours worked above basic (provides meets criteria)_
- Overtime paid above working of full time contractual hours_
- Length of Service bonus & additional holidays paid based on how long worked_

**Salary**: £27,500.00-£28,500.00 per year
