**The Role**:
We are looking for an inspiring Head of VM & Store Design who has an innate flare and passion for people to help build, drive, deliver & execute the VM & Store Design strategy across the EMEA region with key deliverables to focus on team culture, VM campaigns, market launches, new store openings and promotional projects.

We are looking for an experienced VM & Store Design leader with a blend of creativity and innovation-orientation, combined with executional and operational excellence The successful applicant will have a positive, flexible and solutions-oriented approach, strong team leadership experience who will uphold and drive project management processes and communication standards across the team.

**Role Accountabilities**:

- Lead the EMEA VM and Store Design team to implement the regional visual merchandising plans, and design and execute our plan of new store openings and refurbishments.
- Execute all VM elements for retailer & country launches, and to land all new innovation instore, promotional and permanent on time and in budget.
- Collaborate with and influence global VM and Store Design teams regarding design and content of VM guidelines across the business from standalone stores to department stores and specialty beauty retail businesses.
- Work across cross-functional departments to deliver in-store executions that help deliver annual retail and profitability targets for core, new launch and promotional activities.
- Lead clear processes within the EMEA team to ensure a 'world class' delivery is achieved, particularly focusing on cross functional & regional collaboration.
- Team development, ensuring to raise the bar in terms of capabilities and career growth, project execution, and engagement.
- A real focus on championing project management capabilities and efficiencies, within the team and in collaborations. Drive the planning, approval & follow-up of key projects to gain alignment from all key internal & external stakeholders.
- Act as a driver for all CPA timelines and highlight risks to this, with an action solution mindset with all stakeholders.
- Creating exceptional briefs to enable clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Working with Legal department to keep up to date on new and existing policies, as well as maintaining awareness on any contract legalities.
- Budget management and accountability for all approval. Managing external suppliers to optimize cost and mitigate any risk.
- Ensuring constant optimisation of VM and store design work tools, processes for contracts and approvals for creative design.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive Visual Merchandising and Store Design leadership experience in the beauty category (ideally across make up, skin care and/or fragrances).
- Creative and design background (interior, product or architectural design background).
- Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, presenting to senior leaders.
- People focused - a strong and inspiring line manager.
- Deep knowledge of the beauty market.
- Highly proficient in full Adobe Design Software.
- Strong Office suite skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Strong organization, follow up and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, open-minded and naturally innovative.
- Commercial mind set key, with a creative flair.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, adaptive and reactive naturally.
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines and holding team to efficient work processes.
- Enhanced forecasting, budget and project management ownership.
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders of all levels.
