**Salary**:£30,962 - £36,426 dependent on experience

**About The Role**

**Key Accountabilities**
- Responsible for leading the banking & payment team, driving high performance, which include the development, management and maintenance of effective and aligned policies, processes and SOPs, providing a high-quality user experience whilst balancing operationaleffectiveness and controls.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with Cadent policies and controls associated with banking processes, back-office Treasury processes & Master Data.
- Drives opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through the implementation of best practice.
- Responsible for the day-to-day leadership responsibilities and the development of a highly motivated payments and banking team.
- Responsible for the weekly cash forecast across Cadent Finance & Treasury teams.
- Drive delivery of change across the business, role-modelling new ways of working and owning delivery of key outcomes to drive the improvement of long-term business capability.
- Escalation point for all payment and banking team.
- Accountable for leading a team across the following banking & payment processes
- Responsible for a timely monthly close across all banking & payment cycles.
- Holds Delegation of Authority for payment & customer refunds & approver of key processes with the team.
- Escalation point for complex adhoc queries and support other team members when required.
- Lead the team on all aspects of the full end to end banking and payment processing.
- Manage teams performance on a regular basis and address performance issues where applicable.
- Develop meaningful and trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders and delivering a consistent and high-quality service.
