Do you have experience of providing secretarial support to Boards or Committees in a large complex organisation? With this, you will need experience of dealing with FOI complaints and knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR. strong organisation skills.

You will be responsible for managing all requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act and respond to Subject Access Requests under the Data Protection Act/GDPR. You will be in regular contact with the Council's FOI team to maintain co-ordinated compliance with legislative deadlines. You will also be the main point of contact for all enquiries relating to data protection and provide appropriate information and advice to staff.

This key role will also require you to provide support to the Company Secretary and Head of Legal and Governance as required to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive and efficient company secretarial service.
