**Reservations Agent - Clayton Hotel Cambridge**

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team as we embark on a journey of expansion. This role will support the reservations manager with being the first point of contact for our guests and dealing with guest enquires/bookings.

**Objective of the Role**

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, the Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for our guests. It is of utmost importance that the reservations department present a friendly and professional manner at all times. As a Reservations Agent, you will act as the main point of contact for guest’s bookings for bedrooms and car park, dealing with queries and cross selling of our other properties.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage Guests reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard.
- Give details of hotel facilities and pricing information.
- Upsell other areas of the hotel or other properties in the group.
- Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest’s stay.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role with a Reservations System is desirable, Opera Cloud would be an advantage.
- Excellent customer care skills.
- Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential.
- Ability to cope well under pressure.
- Highly motivated, and a team player.
