- Lecturer, Hairdressing Full time, 37hrs per wk 52 weeks per yr
- We are seeking a hairdressing specialist with a desire to teach to join the Hairdressing team within the Department of Service Industries. The post holder will ensure the needs of our learners come first and that every learner will be provided with opportunities to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment. You will be required to deliver high quality teaching and learning and you are expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials which enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives. You should possess a minimum Level 3 Hairdressing qualification and it is desirable to also hold Level 2 Maths and English as you may also be required to deliver functional skills sessions. An assessors and verifiers award and teaching qualification are desirable but not essential, however you will be expected to achieve these during your employment. College Benefits to include:
