What Are We Looking For?

Our Chemical Dosing team in Dalgety Bay is looking for an experienced Plastic Fabricator to join us on a permanent basis. You’ll work alongside an established team and be required to fabricate and form pipework and manifolds through the safe use of handtools, machinery, and other equipment

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

- Comply with Ross-shire Engineering’s Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems
- Fabricate components from customer samples and/or engineer’s drawings to client specifications.
- Undertake maintenance/repair work on existing systems
- Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems
- Safe use of hand tools, machinery and other equipment
- Assist other disciplines when required
- Accurately record man-hours
- Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set
- Opportunities to work both within our local fabrication workshop and remotely as part of our site installation teams pan UK.

What Do You Need?
- Time served, fully qualified tradesman City & Guilds, MA or equivalent preferred but not essential.
- Experience in the fabrication of all thermoplastics, typically Polypropylene, Polyethylene, PVCU,, and PVDF.
- Can accurately interpret engineering drawings
- Can accurately reproduce components from engineering drawings and/or customer samples
- Can demonstrate a clear understanding of the sequence of events required to fabricate a component from start to finish.
