As Policy and Strategy Lead, your role centers in supporting our Leadership Team, including reviewing government policies, managing risk registers, bidding for grants and funding opportunities, and supporting the development of strategic plans. Expertise in People services is important but not essential, your passion and skill is. This role requires a forward-thinking approach to anticipate and prepare for future challenges in the People directorate and requires close working relationships across People Services and different directorates at the Council and external stakeholders.
