Institutional Credit Management is a specialist function in Citi which manages the Credit Risk (the risk of loans or other extensions of credit defaulting) to Wholesale customers (Corporates, Financial Institutions and Governments).

This apprenticeship is within the Risk and Controls team within the Chief Administrative Office of Institutional Credit Management. This function oversees the control environment across the function to ensure that our risks are appropriately managed, and ensures that lessons are learned and remediation in place for issues that do arise

Throughout you will be to develop a strong understanding of credit risk management and the risk and controls of operating within a bank like Citi, and identifying continuous improvements around how this is done through use of automation and technology.

**Your time here will look something like this....**
- Overseeing the quality and successful completion of corrective action plans when issues arise
- Reviewing the controls undertaken by functions across Institutional Credit Management to ensure they have been effective in managing the risks
- Reviewing new policies and procedures as they are developed to ensure that ICM adopts appropriate controls which ensure compliance
- Participating in projects to enhance performance and efficiency

**We want to hear from you if....**
- You have been resident in UK 3 yrs prior to starting apprenticeship with the right to work in UK
- Minimum A-C or 4-9 in Level 2 Math's and English or equivalent

You will follow the Level 3 Risk and Compliance Apprenticeship pathway
