The mental health and well-being of the communities across Hampshire is our top priority and we are looking for a Wellbeing Advisor to join a growing mental health service across the Primary Care Network in Andover. Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are groups of GP practices who work together in a local geographical area and over the last couple of years, we have been working with the NHS to improve the local mental health services within GP surgeries in our region.

The overall purpose of this role will be to directly assess patients from Andover GP surgeries who are referred into the Primary Care Mental Health service. You will also provide short-term recovery-focussed intervention to patients on ways they can manage and improve their mental health through teaching them coping skills, using resources and referring into other services when appropriate.

Work is carried out in the community and in GP surgeries. This is a non-clinical role which promotes self help and works as an integral part of a growing Primary Care Mental Health Service. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team alongside other professionals such as; peer support workers, psychological therapists, social prescribers and a dedicated GP Lead.

Hours will be mainly worked in the PCN office in Andover, some hours may also be worked at; GP surgeries located within the Andover area, the Andover Wellbeing Centre and there may be some opportunities for home working.

30 hours per week. Working pattern is flexible but must include Thursdays.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £12.48 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Andover: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Mental Health care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
