IQVIA’ Real World Solutions experts deliver deep insights derived from statistical analyses of healthcare data through direct access to the world’s most comprehensive healthcare information, analytic and research resources. Our clients operate in the life sciences industry, including the global top 20 pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech companies, as well as public health providers and regulatory authorities. They are looking for insight and evidence around the safety, clinical and cost-effectiveness of health care delivery systems, medical devices, and pharmaceutical products spanning the full spectrum of therapeutic and disease areas.

Our RWS team is made up of multi-disciplinary professionals in a variety of epidemiology-related disciplines from around the globe, that specialise in cutting edge and innovative analysis of the ever-growing amount of healthcare data. Our diverse mix of clients, the breath of disease areas, as well as the increasing access to novel data sources and methodologies provide a constant and rewarding challenge for our people.

**Role Summary**

Associates in our Client Engagement team are involved in delivering projects for our clients, primarily pharmaceutical or biotech businesses, but also academia or other health industries (e.g. healthcare providers). Our associates work as part of a team and are expected to be self-motivated individuals with excellent communication and presenting skills. Associates are required to provide high quality work in support of Real World Data project delivery or business development opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Produce materials and services relating to Real World Project delivery with support from other team members where appropriate (PowerPoint slides for client meetings, components of study documentation e.g. Protocol, Statistical Analysis Plan, report (including abstracts and manuscripts)
- Develop your project management skills through client liaison and collaboration with senior project managers
- Develop your knowledge of Real World Insights offerings and databases to support in in business development opportunities.
- Conduct desk research on therapy areas, drugs, methodological approaches to support proposal development with senior colleagues.
- Supporting broader business development activities with proposal development under guidance from senior team members
- Contributing to the development of novel RWS offerings as well as other internal initiatives
- Raising the external profile of IQVIA RWS by attending and presenting project work at conferences

**Skills, Experience & Education Required**:

- Problem-solving attitude, anticipating issues early, analysing, interpreting and suggesting solutions proactively
- Able to engage and establish lasting working relationships with a wide range of internal and external, scientific as well as commercial stakeholders effectively
- Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral), demonstrated via: storyboarding / slide development, report writing, meeting and workshop facilitation, timely and appropriately informative escalation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of consulting and project management methodologies, tools and techniques
- Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries

**The extra mile**:

- A PhD in life sciences or related discipline is desirable
- Experience in healthcare consulting / experience in life science industry or within academia is desirable
