This is an exciting time to be joining Hyndburn Borough Councils Environmental Health Team. The team deals with a broad range of Environmental Health duties and is in the process of transition as a number of teams have recently joined to form a new Environmental Health service area.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Housing Standards Team working on tackling Empty Properties across the borough. If you thrive in taking the initiative, getting things done and would like to make a real difference, we would like to hear from you.

This is a varied and interesting role. The post holder will be involved with the investigation and enforcement relating to empty properties across the borough in line with council procedures, national and local targets. To ensure properties are improved and brought back into use. This role involves working with various agencies due to the complex nature of investigations.
