**Responsible To**: Operations Manager / Maintenance Department

Working week schedule requirement - 3 weekends out of 4 required every month (start times are from 06.00/07.00 dependent on the season on a 4-hour shift daily)
**Job Summary**:
Public Areas Attendant
- Maintaining all exterior areas including car-parks
- Window cleaning exterior and interior
- Maintaining car-park landscapes and other green spaces close to club house ensuring the area has seasonal flowers.
- Repair any minor issues.

**Job brief**

We are looking for a Part time Handyman to ensure first impressions counts keeping all areas clean and tidy. Being able to maintain all areas and report and major maintenance issues, this would include painting and repairs.

The tasks and responsibilities to be undertaken are the following maintaining all exterior areas close to the club house, window cleaning interior and exterior monitoring the health of all plants and green spaces, watering and feeding plants, trimming trees and shrubs, fertilizing, weeding gardens, and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter. You should know how to use and maintain landscaping equipment, trimmers, and fertilizers, while following health and safety regulations. You would also need a love of the outdoors.

Ultimately, you will make sure our public and arrival areas are well maintained.

**Responsibilities**
- Window cleaning all exterior and interior windows.
- Maintaining car-park and landscapes near to the clubhouse.
- Painting any exterior area that needs attention.
- Install and maintain seasonal plants.
- Mulch, edge and weed gardens.
- Deal with pest problems that could damage plants.
- Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter.
- Being proactive in reporting any major maintenance issues being able to tackle small issues in a timely way, also be able to deal with any small minor maintenance issues.

**Requirements**:

- Experience as a Handyman
- Knowing your way around a toolbox
- Knowledge of seasonal plant life
- Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations for a handyman
- The ability to lift heavy objects or work from a height.
- The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time.
- A love of the outdoors and plant life
- To work weekends

Preferred knowledge of PA1 and PA6 but not essential but willing to learn.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
