**Join our community.
We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Middle office associate to join us at an exciting time in the CFO Treasury Middle Office UK (Ring Fenced Bank) Team. You’ll be working with a team of knowledgeable professionals partnering with the business in terms of Transaction Execution Support.

You’ll provide an excellent service to clients, both internal and external, to ensure CFO UK maintains its competitive advantage. You’ll need to ensure that the control environment and related processes are robust and commensurate with the business requirements. Its critical that you support the traders with a first-class support function (including ensuring trade information has been correctly disseminated).

**The difference you’ll make.**
- Inserting and validating trades in Front Office systems across an array of asset classes including Fixed Income, Derivatives and Equities, this includes verifying trade bookings vs Term Sheets/Trade Confirmations.
- Performing trade lifecycle management including Expiries, Exercises, Terminations, Unwinds and Drawdowns. Production and analysis of daily reports for all business areas covered within CFO Treasury Middle Office UK.
- Maintain a good relationship with the Front Office and ensure smooth and efficient business support.
- Working collaboratively with the Front Office UK on Project work which directly impacts CFO Treasury Middle Office UK or business initiatives that require support/intervention.
- Implementing and making improvements/enhancements of existing processes and controls within CFO Treasury Middle Office UK to better support the business in a more controlled and efficient manner. Liaising with other departments/business areas regarding any issues involving internal trades for which CFO Treasury Middle Office UK has responsibility.

**What you’ll bring.**
- Exposure to banking regulations (EMIR, MIFID), regulators (FCA) and auditors (internal/external)
- Experience in dealing with Regulatory Change and, understanding its impact on the Business

**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong knowledge of Policies and Procedures, Quality Controls, Processes and Documentation
- Advanced level Excel, including Macros and VBA and knowledge of SQL
- Good knowledge of Murex FXFI/3.1/MarkitWire
- Demonstrated understanding of commercial awareness and business acumen

This is a **12 Month **fixed term contract.
