DESCRIPTION

Are you a Commercial Account Handler with an excellent level of knowledge and experience across Commercial Property and Property Owners insurance? If so, a new opportunity has come to market for you to work for a highly reputable brokerage in Manchester City Centre.
THE ROLE:
Joining the business as a Commercial Account Handler, working as part of one of their specialist teams. You will be responsible for maintaining an insurance portfolio whilst providing a high quality, professional and efficient service at all times.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Working closely with clients to truly understand their requirements, ensuring a quality service is delivered and the requisite level of cover is provided.
- Managing the renewal process and handling mid-term adjustments.
- Ensuring information is recorded correctly on Acturis.
- Liaising with partner brokers to ensure that insurance placements are coordinated.
- Providing a first-class service at all times to clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- You will need to have proven experience working as Commercial Account Handler for a brokerage.
- A background in and good technical knowledge of Commercial Property and Property Owners insurance would be desirable
- Will be an excellent communicator and effective negotiator, in order to secure the best deals for clients.
- Able to develop and maintain solid working relationships with clients and insurers.
- Possess outstanding sector and industry knowledge.
- Experience of using Acturis would be advantageous, albeit not essential.

The role is working for a well-established insurance broker with offices in the heart of Manchester City Centre. They have a number of specialist teams across the business, with this role giving you the opportunity to sit within one of them.
