Currently seeking an experienced Sales Ledger/Finance Assistant to work for a leading supplier in Newcastle.

The role is focused around the management of debtors within the business which includes; pricing, the oversee off all debts owed and Invoices.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

- To develop and maintain all working relationships with customers to encourage a positive response to arrears chased
- Ensure to follow up on any late payments and manage accordingly
- Effectively check and post receipts to the accounting systems
- Prioritise your workload so you can process and reconcile invoices in a timely manner
- To respond to customer queries promptly and efficiently
- Produce statements, reports and any additional information required by the Financial Team
- To recommend and implement any process/system improvements
- Successfully generate daily invoices as well as consolidate and verify pricing
- To work closely with the Finance Manager and ensure that there is an effective cash flow

Knowledge/Experience Required:

- Fantastic attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Software knowledge such as SAGE
- Be able to work to deadlines in a busy but very friendly department
