Trainer - Health and Social Care

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an efficient, organised Health and Social Care Trainer to join our Adult Social Care Team.

The Hennessy Partnership are looking to recruit an Adult Health and Social Care Trainer to support our services, by delivering and coordinating the successful completion of mandatory training for our workforce.
We are looking for a dynamic and independent professional with solid care and people management experience and a flexible, enthusiastic individual, with a 'can-do' attitude to join our growing and progressive team.
Some of the duties may include:
- Conduct training sessions for new employees to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job effectively.
- Carry out refresher training as required and in line with CQC requirements.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques.
- Assess trainee performance and provide feedback to help them improve.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance training programmes.
- Report to and develop training content with the Training Manager to respond to changing training needs and resident feedback.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programmes and make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements for the role:
- A minimum of NVQ level 3 in health and social care is essential.
- Train the Trainer qualification
- Significant experience and strong understanding of the Health and Social Care Industry (3 years minimum)

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively deliver information to diverse audiences.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate trainees.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using training software and tools.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
