The Project Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. - to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the management of significant projects with a large amount of independence.
- Develops and exercises business plans, policies and procedures and may also be responsible for various projects to improve efficiencies.
- Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships.
- Directs the creation of multiple projects of work and manage their alignment to business goals.
- Leads the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross functional macro level topics within/across projects and with Senior Management.
- Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work with stakeholders to ensure project scope definition.
- Meets business objectives and work with project sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives.
- Drives adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery and leverage across the project.
- Assists project team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the project can be completed.
- Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including Senior Management, on a timely basis.
- Directs the identification of risks which impact project delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
- Key contact for EMEA region for consent order planning and execution activities for the regional transformation execution team.
- Build and coordinate regional Program Governance and related governance documentation (ie : Steering committee decks, minutes, Progress status, Regional updates)
- Coordinate and closely work with CGW EMEA SMEs, Business teams and Risk & Control representatives to ensure existing business processes and regulations are considered in the CO Program execution
- Collect and centralise CO Program deliverables evidence to support future Internal Audit exercise
- Well versed with the Legal Entity structure in EMEA region, especially from the perspective of CGW / Private bank booking centres in UK, Switzerland, Jersey and Luxemburg, sales offices across Europe and Middle east and the overall governance across the region.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationship with EMEA senior management especially the EMEA regional business head, CAO (Chief Administrative Office) team (including Risk and Controls team) to ensure appropriate coverage for the CGW booking centres and sales offices to ensure critical aspects of CO program are covered and activities are adequately implemented.
- Due to complex regulatory environment in EMEA region, critically ensures regulatory compliance when implementing CO related activities.
- Maintain solid working relationship with CGW APAC/EMEA Transformation Execution Team and Country Business Risk and Control Head.
- Perform complex analyses of comparative data, preparing and presenting regional and global reports related to CO Program groups associated risk assessments, and identifying compliance or regulatory concerns.
- Actively participate in the appropriate and designated country / regional and global calls / meetings
- Alignment of the program governance framework within the region and be responsible for its effectiveness in providing oversight and direction.
- Ensure the project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, executive status reporting, and overall program delivery adheres to strategic direction.
- Ability to clearly identify cross-programs dependencies, escalate potential roadblocks and recommend effective actions.
- Define, develop, and implement best practices and standardize roles, methodology, and tools that is aligned with Global PMO team.
- Lead the timely execution of detailed country plan on CO execution for EMEA region.
- Drive adherence with CGW APAC/EMEA Transformation Execution Program Leads in:

- Monitor and provide oversight on execution including supporting wrapper closure in region and countries across all program groups.
- RAG status reporting for the EMEA region.
- Direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including Senior Management, on a timely basis.
- Direct the identification of risks which impact project delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary
