Customer Service Inspector

Location: North East England and Central Scotland

Robertson Homes has an opportunity for you to join their Customer Services team as an Inspector. This role is to provide technical advice and solutions to defects raised by the customers during the warranty period and deal with customer queries raised from reservation. This will be done through inspections and carrying out remedial works within customers homes. It is essential to support the customer’s Journey, provide assistance to the Customer Service Manager and provide solutions to the Customer Service Administration Team.

Your new role:
**What you’ll do**:

- Carrying out home inspections.
- Attending and resolving remedial works within the time period warranty.
- Close out Customer issues after legal completion to aid in reducing after-sales costs.
- Carry out inspections and provide solutions to the customer care team.
- Provide Maintenance work within properties as required.
- Provide technical solutions to defects raised by Customers after legal completion.
- Arrange for Mobile Repair Technicians & Sub-contractors to attend, when necessary, to reported defects and provide clear concise instructions to remedy those defects. Carry out all work in line with the New Homes Quality Code.

**What you’ll need**:

- Trade background essential.
- Must have previous customer service management experience.
- Have the ability to understand the technical details of NHBC guidelines.
- Be confident in meeting customers and sub-contractors to discuss process and issues.
- Being able to cover all Regions - North Scotland / North East England/ Central Scotland, and at times stay over in those Regions as issues dictate.
- Have site management experience (not essential, but preferable).
- Strong sense of process awareness and capable of meeting KPI's as required.
