Lunchtime Assistant

We are currently seeking a Lunch Time Assistant for our family run Nursery in the village on Long Crendon in Aylesbury, hours are 10.30am-2.30pm minimum (can give more hours if desired), your key duties will be covering staff while they are on lunch or absent for any reason and helping the other staff supervise and get involved in play, activities and tea time with the children, working across all rooms, from baby - toddler rooms. Opportunity for more hours if desired, we can also offer the opportunity to become qualified in childcare in the future if you can increase your hours.

**Requirements**:

- Must have some sort of experience caring for young children under 5 years old
- Must genuinely enjoy being around children
- Must be a good team player and work well with others, friendly and helpful manner
- Must have the natural ability to interact well with young children and engage with them.
- Can get to Long Crendon in Aylesbury easily.

**Staff benefits** - Further training, birthday day off (terms apply), can offer more hours if desired, staff outings and socials/Christmas parties etc.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £8.50-£10.50 per hour
