The Best Connection are currently recruiting FLT Counterbalance - PM shifts to work for one of our clients based at Belfast International Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global leader in logistics, distribution and supply chain management, with full Aviation and X-ray Training provided.
- ** Pay**: £12:00ph (08:00-20:00) £13.20 (20:00-08:00)
- ** Duration**: Ongoing
- ** Hours**:Monday to Friday 17.00 to 21.00 = 20 hours per week
- ** Location**:Belfast International Airport

**Requirements of a FLT Counterbalance - PM drivers**:

- Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us)
- Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
- Provide a full 5-year address history
- Attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us)

**Role of a FLT Counterbalance - PM drivers**:

- Labelling Parcels
- Scanning Parcels
- Uploading information on to a Computer
- Lifting and Moving Parcels (may be up to 10kg in certain areas)
- Physical Inspection of Cargo
- Operation of x-ray machines
- Responsible for using x-ray machines to identify dangerous objects in cargo and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft
- Maintain focus and awareness within an environment containing numerous distractions, people and noise
- Work within a demanding environment, time critical and the requirement to identify and locate potentially life-threatening devices and devices intended on creating massive destruction
- Make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations
