**Why this role?**

We're looking for a writer with demonstrable experience in the technology sector (happy to talk and write about Cloud, Big Data, Social Media, Enterprise Mobility, IoT the list goes on) and has a clear understanding of what makes the B2B world go round.

The types of projects we work on are varied. You might find yourself doing everything from innovative new thought leadership for a global brand awareness campaign to thinking about ways content and creative can drive sales enablement and promote internalcommunications.

Ideally, we're looking for a writer that has the experience, or at the very least is excited to learn about creating client-facing content plans. We want a strategic thinker that has a passion for messaging and narrative development. Creating a value propositionand messaging framework should excite and inspire.

**Accountabilities**
- Deliver a variety of writing projects according to clients' tone of voice, brand style, and narrative objectives
- Develop new content ideas for clients and work closely with our content strategist to uncover editorial opportunities within our existing client list, as well as new business.
- Research topic areas and stay abreast of the latest thought-leadership in the B2B tech space
- Revise content to ensure it aligns with business goals and objectives
- From time to time, you may be asked to develop content style guides for clients, this includes building out a tone of voice for clients and guiding them on how their writing style can impact an audience's perspective.
- Liaising with clients directly to extract briefs, and pitching written work back to clients
- Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximise online visibility of digital work.

**You'll be**:

- self-motivated and proactive
- happy to be client-facing (you should be confident in articulating and presenting your ideas to others internal, as well as in client workshops)
- happy working in a team
- good at brainstorming and working collaboratively (you're not just writing copy all day, you're developing ideas with the team)
- not precious about copy (able to respond well to criticism and calls for edits or rewrites)
- used to working to deadlines
- able to write a better list of bullet points than this one.
