**Department Overview**

The Cricket department is responsible for all aspects of cricket across the Club including the professional male and female teams, academies, pathway programs, science and medicine, and grounds management.

**The Opportunity**

An incredible opportunity has arisen to join our cricket department over the cricket season to provide dressing room assistance and support to our professional mens’ and womens’ teams. You will work the players and coaches for both the home and away teams and umpires, helping with a wide range of tasks with not one day being the same. You will play a key role in ensuring that match days are run smoothly and efficiently during the season by being proactive and through liaising with the Cricket Operations Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**

Dressing room operations
- Ensure the dressing rooms of players, support staff, match officials and dining room areas are operated in accordance with the Yorkshire Cricket Dressing Room Operations Manual
- Ensure setup and cleaning down of room after each use
- Welcome and liaise with home and away teams and match officials at Headingley and act as a point of contact during their stay
- Liaise with catering to ensure meals are out at the correct time and dietary requirements have been catered for
- Assist with the professional teams’ player and coach kit and equipment distribution, including cleaning, washing and drying of kit

Administration
- Assist with distribution of player complimentary tickets
- Assist the Cricket Operations Manager with a range of administrative and support tasks as necessary
- Support the training and supervision of casual attendants

**Job Specification**

**Essential Criteria**
- Previous experience in a customer service environment where you regularly provided a service to a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience working in a high pressure operational environment
- Ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously with limited supervision
- Demonstrable experience and/or understanding of working with professional athletes
- Demonstrable experience and/or commitment to delivering the values of YCCC’s EDI Plan

**Desirable Criteria**
- Previous experience providing athlete services in a professional sporting venue
- Knowledge of cricket and understanding of match day operations and requirements
