Accuflex currently has an opportunity for a qualified Lawyer (NQ) with Pensions experience to join a prestigious, specialist law firm.

The firm is committed to delivering ground-breaking work, with a key focus on team work, ensuring a thriving and supportive environment.

**Responsibilities**
- **Advisory work around pensions. **Advising pension schemes on changes in law and tax. Discussing what benefits may be paid in different circumstances.
- **Advisory work to employers. **Discussing their duties, consultations around changes in pensions and purchase and sale of assets.
- **Research and review. **Be aware of legal trends and regulatory requirements to continually support the development of a mature legal framework.
- **Legal and contractual risk management. **Identify, control and report on material legal and commercial risks.
- **Manage external legal partners. **Manage the interface with external legal partners, clients, and suppliers.
- **Project work. **Support both internal and external projects, providing legal guidance, supporting the achievement of each project’s objectives.

**Experience**
- A qualified solicitor or lawyer
- Some previous Pensions experience
- Excellent commercial contract drafting skills
- Excellent understanding of contract law
- A team player with good client care
- A curious, open minded approach, with an analytical mind

**Locations**:
Leeds, with hybrid working pattern.
