Hooray are proud to be supporting a local educational establishment to support in the recruitment for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis up until Easter Half-term.

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

- Support a range of students on tasks including assessments, capturing/ tracking progress, preparing resources and providing feedback to tutors
- Assist the academic staff in ensuring that the maximum potential of students with learning difficulties, disabilities and/or barriers to learning is achieved
- Provide feedback to the tutor on learner progress or learning challenges
- Support students to achieve their targets, and to record and track information regarding those achievements
- Keep students’ administration up to date and update students’ personal files by completing an afternoon of admin per week
- Encourage students’ independent skills through trips into the community and / or off-site venues

To be successful as a Teaching Assistant you will:

- Experience of supporting students with SEND in an education environment
- Proven IT skills
- English and Maths level 2
- Be confident supporting students in need.

My client is offering an hourly salary of up to £12.18 plus holiday, depending on experience. Working 37 hours per week for a temporary contract up until Easter Half-term with the potential to be extended.
