Working with one of the UK's leading automotive manufacturers, this is an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Officer at their Cranfield, Bedfordshire site
Job Duration - 12 months rolling contract
39 core working hours Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-1.20pm
Pay Rate: £16.33/hr PAYE and £2.45/hr holiday accrual.
Salary equivalent £33,000+.
Techniche Agency Umbrella Rate: £21.75/hour
Deliverables and KPIs
- Ensure a strong relationship with service providers is maintained
- Provide excellent customer service at all times to support company projects
- Own the administration process for vehicle fleet management, to include:

- Precise tracking of all vehicles assigned to site (500+)
- Record vehicles arriving and departing
- Learn the bespoke company systems required to fulfil the role
- Liaise with head office and internal customers on a daily basis regarding vehicle numbers/locations etc to ensure records are levelled at both sites
- Identify opportunities to reduce the vehicle fleet and continually work with internal customers to manage fleet vs parking space
- General administration duties for the Test team
Qualifications/Skills Required:

- Experience of vehicle management/logistics and a desire to own fleet management
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
- Demonstrate that test vehicles are being managed in accordance with the section KPI's
- Extensive use of Excel to provide reports and data
- Experience of a busy office environment
- 5+ years administration background
