We are looking for someone to join our team and support the manager in delivering high quality play for children aged 7-11 years of age and take an active role in our busy after school club on weekday afternoons, term time only.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with primary age children in an engaging and fun environment. You will work in a team, having direct contact with the children and interacting with parents/carers.

A role that will test your ability to be creative, develop a positive environment, to engage children.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- To assist other staff members in facilitating play opportunities for the children.
- To support the leadership team in planning a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities and play opportunities.
- To assist in the planning, sourcing and implementation of daily craft activities.
- To provide safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities, including preparing activities and setting up equipment.
- To ensure all responsibilities and activities are carried out within an equal opportunities framework; and adapt these if children do not want to take part in a planned activity.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
