**Salary**: £23,144 to £24,285 with progression to £26,396 per annum

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the overall smooth running of designated degree programmes in the School, and to act as placement co-ordinator for all Architecture and Planning professional placements. You will supervise the running of the School’s programme support made up of a team of 5 Learning & Teaching Administrators, and also support a degree programme.

Interviews will be held on Friday, 10th February.

Key Accountabilities
All duties relevant to the admission of students to designated programmes within the School
Involvement in the preparation for exam boards liaising with academic colleagues, ensuring teaching & learning deadlines are met. Supervise the collection, collation, and distribution of assessments to markers, transfer the marks to the online system, organising Exam Boards, liaise with External Examiners and supervise the collation of information for presentation to the Board of Examiners.
Arrange meetings, agendas, take minutes and book rooms for various Committees. Circulate minutes and pursue action points of the meetings
Working with the L&T Co-ordinators and Administrators to produce draft timetables for collating and resolving problems where necessary
Assisting the School Managers and L&T Co-ordinators in preparing any documentation necessary for any future teaching quality audits or professional accreditation visits
To provide support for the arrangement of student placements and maintaining accurate records in line with the School’s professionally accredited programmes.
Whilst students are on placement you will be the liaison between the student, the employer, and the School
You will use databases and spreadsheets to provide statistical information and analysis to relevant placement tutors and the Head of School on current placement activity
Setting standard office procedures for programme support and ensuring an appropriate level of service is provided. Acting as line manager to staff in the team
Any other duties within the scope and general nature of the grade which may be required
