**Job Summary**:
We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Carer and Support Workers to join our team. You will be responsible for providing assistance and support to clients in their homes/facility, helping them with activities of daily living and enabling them to live independently. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy, and a commitment to improving the lives of others.
- **Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Assist clients with medication management, ensuring they take prescribed medications on time and according to dosage instructions.
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living spaces.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental stimulation and socialization.
- Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social events as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including daily care logs and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and colleagues to ensure coordinated care and support.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of clients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- **Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in patient care, childcare, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as transferring individuals
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, or other specialized areas is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent

Pay: £12.05-£13.05 per year

Expected hours: No less than 48 per week
