SF Group have partnered with a client in Coventry who are looking to recruit a Recruitment and HR Advisor on a 6 month contract, with the chance of it going permanent. Please note that this is a site based role, flexible working isn't available.
Responsibilities will include:

- Support the Director of People in delivering HR resource plans and managing change.
- Ensure contracts, terms and conditions and offer letters are issued as required.
- Provide knowledgeable and professional advice in respect of organisational HR procedures and policy maintaining the credibility of the Human Resources function.
- Oversee the effective planning and implementation of recruitment processes for permanent and student staff for Grade 5 and below.
- Take part in selection process for particular vacancies as agreed by the Director of People.
- Support the effective deployment of diversity and inclusion policy across the organisation.
- Monitor diversity and inclusion statistics and produce an annual report with recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure retention and continued compliance with Disability Charter standards.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with Trade Unions and other staff representatives in order to manage effective employee relations issues. Support the Director of People in managing effective employee relations.
- Support the Director of People in implementing effective and appropriate methods of employee consultation, participation and information.
- Monitor and manage effective procedures for dealing with discipline and grievance matters.
- Act as HR Representative at disciplinary / grievance issues and advise line managers with regard to procedures.
- Take minutes of disciplinary and grievance hearings.
- Implement policies and procedures that will minimise absence. Monitor absence trends and support managers in dealing with cases.
- Deal with unforeseen and unavoidable employee absences.
- Manage referral to Occupational Health, return to work, and reasonable adjustment analysis
